Hawaiian Santa at Makayla's preschool Christmas party
We had the McIntosh family over for dinner one night before they moved off the island.
Makayla & Will
Elijah & Drew
On Christmas Eve we spent a little time at our neighbors' house before church
After church, the kids opened their new Christmas jammies
Christmas morning
Daddy sent some gifts. Mak asked where they came from and I told her that Daddy sent them from Toys R Us. Her repsonse was "Daddy has a Toys R Us in Iraq?!"
As you can see, Elijah put on the helmet and left it on for most of his gifts. :)
We definitely missed Blain at Christmas time. We were blessed to be able to get on Skype with him and he was able to watch the kids open their gifts.
Later that afternoon we went to my cousin's house for dinner.
My cousin's niece, my cousin's daughter, Makayla & Elijah
This is what happens when poor Elijah is surrounded by girls
My cool man
Makayla Picasso (She said this is a photo she drew of herself. She even drew curls.)
The boy tried to close himself in the refrigerator
Miss Mak loves to take pictures! Especially of herself :)
We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and we hope you are enjoying the new year. We are are excited about Nana & Dewpop coming out to visit for Elijah's birthday early next month! We are also excited about Blain's R&R in about 2 months!! We can't wait to see him!

Overdue pictures from Thanksgiving and Christmas
ALOHA!!
For Thanksgiving, we spent the day with the McIntosh family, along with three other families. We had a wonderful time!
All the kids
Normally, we don't decorate for Christmas until the first weekend in December but this time I pulled everything out the day after Thanksgiving.
Mak putting one last ornament on the tree (and Elijah saying "ooohhh")
The first part of December I had a friend try to get a good picture of us for our Christmas card photo. I say try because Elijah Barron was a difficult little man that day. Here are some of the bloopers.
The better pics we got
